Well here we are in wonderful LasVegas at last!!
All the errands are finished, the bows are all tied and all that is left is the actual wedded event tomorrow at 11:00 am.
We met several people in the airport that were also on their way to LasVegas to attend weddings. It appears that it is the most popular wedding day of this year. Local news reports anticipating several thousand weddings tomorrow in the city of LasVegas and the national news report an estimated that 300,000 nationwide.
It is a day to never beforgotten by bride or groom.........07-07-07....."only in Vegas baby."

This spring we had four teachers become engaged; one ended up going to the justice of the peach as it was her second marriage, one ended up going to Vegas for a quick weekend weeding, and two are having the full-meal-deal this summer. For the two getting married this summer, wedding plans consumed their one hour daily conference and planning period and one of them had a fellow teacher as their wedding planner, so three people did not accomplish much during their conference and planning period during 4th quarter.
I went to the Nordstrom Rack and found a nice dress, suitable for a wedding, a party, or a nice event, at 75% off the final price and paid $14.00 for a dress that was originally $600.00. I offered to loan the dress to any of our female staff members and one of them took me up on the offer. She got married yesterday, 7-7-07, in Hawaii. Hopefully this will be the start of good things for my ‘community wedding dress’.
